My favorite movie growing up, (and maybe still to this day if we’re being honest), was “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”. The chaos of the wedding morning, the sisters, brothers, cousins, and friends all rushing around, the quiet moment shared between Ian and Tula after the ceremony, painted such an intimate and authentic view of why a wedding is so special. These are the kinds of moments I will never cut out of a wedding film.  In the years to come, I hope you can watch your own film and remember how it felt to celebrate with your loved ones, the excitement right before your first look, and the sound of your parents’ and grandparents’ voices when they talked about you and your new spouse. 

When I first started working for Claire Forrest Films in 2024, I fell head over heels with capturing these precious moments of a wedding day and wanted to create something that truly felt like an “heirloom” piece. This package is a little “something old” and “something new”. The Super 8 footage invokes the nostalgia and vintage feel of old family movies, while the family and friend interviews, and digital footage document everything so you can watch your video for years to come and feel like you are right back in your wedding day.
